About CPU
Created in 1990 to meet the needs of Tunisian universities and academic institutions, the University Publication Center (CPU) is a key player in the publishing and dissemination of research work. For several decades, we have supported thousands of authors, published hundreds of books, and collaborated with universities and research centers around the world. Thanks to our commitment to editorial quality, we have established ourselves as a pillar of knowledge and scientific culture.
Our Vision
The University Publication Center (CPU) aims to be a benchmark in academic and scientific publishing in Tunisia and the French-speaking world. Our goal is to promote research, the dissemination of knowledge, and access to quality publications for students, researchers, and teachers. We are committed to supporting authors in showcasing their work and strengthening the impact of Tunisian scientific production internationally.
Our Mission
Our main mission is to publish, distribute, and promote academic and scientific works that contribute to intellectual and cultural development. We aim to:

Publication of university books, theses, and dissertations in various fields to encourage knowledge dissemination.
Production and dissemination of scientific journals
Support for the publication of specialized scientific journals to promote Tunisian university research.
Digitization and online publication
Development of digital platforms allowing consultation and downloading of academic works and articles.
Support for authors and researchers
Help with manuscript preparation, adherence to editorial standards, and improving publication quality.
Online sales of publications
Establishment of an online sales platform allowing students, researchers, and institutions to purchase academic works.
Printing and distribution of educational documents
Printing and distribution of teaching materials, including manuals and handouts for universities.
Organization of events and training
Organization of conferences, seminars, and workshops on scientific publishing, intellectual property, and best publication practices.
Assignment of ISBN and ISSN numbers
The CPU ensures the assignment of ISBNs (International Standard Book Number) for books and ISSNs (International Standard Serial Number) for scientific journals.
